iDNA Research Group proposes futuristic strategies to embody interactive technology in the very fabric of our physical environmental systems. iDNA cultivates the need to strengthen our social belonging to environmental systems, by employing the use of sensors, effectors and actuators in the design of current and future systems. We design intelligent systems for all new forms of responsive, haptic and multi-sensorial environments, from small scale objects as toys and furniture, to large scale environmental interfaces, and buildings’ skin and armature. In the iDNA Research Group, we design, prototype and evaluate systems with real users.
